Vaping saved my life. I am 59 years old. I started smoking on my 11th birthday. Through my pregnancies I tried to quit smoking. I tried everything over the years from hypnosis to Chantix. Nothing worked, until I found vaping. I have been smoke free for over 2 years now. I have decreased my nicotine intake from 18mg/ml down to 1.5mg/ml. I am #OneofaBillion.

    • Wow, that’s awesome Janet!!

How do you feel now that you’ve started vaping?

      • Janet Wambold-Buraik

Aaron, I feel great. Sadly I’m pretty congested right now. It is the first time I have been sick since I started vaping. I used to get bronchitis several times a year. I have not had it once since I started vaping. Even now with this congestion, I feel better when I am vaping.

I will always support A Billion Lives! Will be sporting this shirt at the Capital building in Salem Oregon on the 9th as well. I’m an asthmatic 2+ pack a day smoker and have been smoke free since May of 2013! Also no longer need my inhaler as my asthma is all but non existent. You Rock!

    • Greg, you rock. It’s so awesome to see you wearing the shirt. Means a lot to the whole team.

Vaping saved my life! In 2010 I was rushed to the ER in total respiratory failure and close to death after smoking for over 30 years. I spent 8 agonizing days and nights in the hospital wishing I would die because the pain was so bad. I coughed until I thought my inside were coming loose and my ribs were shattering inside me. I was hooked up to all kinds of IVs and oxygen and given breathing treatments every 4 hours around the clock. I gradually improved enough to leave the hospital but continued the breathing treatments. I was close to having to be on oxygen upon discharge but had improved just enough so that my insurance would not pay for it. I knew if I smoked when I left the hospital I would die. I had tried every conventional method to quit smoking and nothing worked for me. My husband brought home a skinny pink vape pen with disposable cartridges and that started me on my road to vaping and life changing results. My lungs are now clear and I no longer have to do breathing treatments. I feel healthier than I ever have in my life and would not be here today if it wasn’t for vaping! God bless you Aaron for bringing this information to the world. I am one of the billion lives that was saved!

My grandfather passed away from emphysema and lung cancer. He was a progressive man for the time he was born in and I swear to this day if vaping existed when he was alive he would be doing it. I work everyday at my job to give people a second chance to be with loved ones and have the opportunity to get to know them longer than I had the chance to get to know my grandpa. I applaud you making this documentary and I’m checking this page everyday waiting to see when I can watch. I tell everyone at my store about this and it really just means so much to the whole community that you’re doing this for us. Thank you.

Both my parents passed away from smoking related disease. I stopped at 50 years old by switching to ecigarettes in 2009, so that my path may continue on, a ways longer. If only they had the opportunity I did.

I was finally able to quit smoking after 38 years thanks to my sister that gave me my first e-cig three years ago as a Christmas gift.
